Biography:

Ms. Moore currently serves as the Executive Director for the Developmental Disabilities Nurses Association.  A Registered Nurse for 36 years, Diane has worked in the field of intellectual and developmental disabilities for over 25 years and is certified in the specialty of developmental disabilities nursing.  She is past-president of the DDNA Board of Directors, serving on the Board for 10 years, and is the current Executive Director for the association.  Diane is the co-owner of Innovative Outcomes, Inc., a privately held Texas-based company which provides services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in residential and natural home settings.  
Over the years, she has developed nursing and health systems for the support of persons with I/DD across the spectrum of care, and has developed numerous nursing education programs addressing the nursing care needs of persons with I/DD.  A familiar presence at local, regional and national forums, Diane advances the discussion of the common health issues facing persons with I/DD and the practice concerns of nurses who work in the specialty of I/DD nursing.
