Biography:
Petrina E. McFarlane, Assistant Professor of Nursing at Community College of Philadelphia, has over twenty years of nursing experience. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Master of Science in Nursing with a concentration in Community System Administration, and Post-Master’s in Nursing Education from Thomas Jefferson University. Petrina is currently pursuing a Doctor of Nursing Practice at the University of Pennsylvania with an anticipated graduation in August 2023. Her interest of study includes the prevalence of gun violence in urban environments. Her DNP scholarly project focuses on connecting victims of gun violence to community resources.
