Biography:
Angela Sousa, NP graduated with her undergraduate degree in Health Sciences from Merrimack College in North Andover, MA in 2007. In 2010, Angela went on to earn her Master of Science in Nursing from Simmons College in Boston, MA. Angela worked in the outpatient Palliative Care Clinic at Massachusetts General Hospital 2013-2019 and is currently the Clinical Lead in the Palliative Care Division at Newton-Wellesley Hospital in Newton, MA. Angela works on both the inpatient consult service, including the emergency department, and in the outpatient Palliative Care Clinic in the Massachusetts General Hospital Cancer Center at Newton-Wellesley Hospital. Also, published a book chapter in Palliative Care in Hematologic Malignancies and Serious Blood Disorders; A Clinical Guide in 2023 which focuses on the utilization of ambulatory palliative care services for patients with hematologic malignancies.
