Patients having diagnostic imaging treatments are cared for by radiology and imaging nurses. This covers ultrasound, computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, and radiation treatment. They could also instruct patients, keep track of how they react to tests, and make sure the radiological equipment is maintained and run correctly. It may be necessary for radiology and imaging nurses to engage with patients and other healthcare professionals, therefore they must be effective communicators. They must also have excellent technical and administrative abilities. To practise, radiology and imaging nurses must hold a licence from their state or nation of practise.
