About Brad Franklin

Dr. Brad Franklin is a U.S. Army nursing leader and Family Nurse Practitioner with more than 19 years of clinical, operational, and executive leadership experience. He serves as Deputy Commanding Officer and Chief Nursing Officer for the 1st Medical Brigade at Fort Hood, Texas. Dr. Franklin holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice, is board-certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner and Nurse Executive Advanced, and is a Fellow of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. His leadership experience includes serving as Commander of Public Health Command-Pacific and Command Nurse Executive for Regional Health Command-Central, with assignments spanning combat operations, humanitarian missions, and military healthcare systems worldwide.
