Harini S Shunmuga Velu is a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) candidate at the Alice Lee Centre for Nursing Studies, National University of Singapore, and a Registered Nurse with 17 years of experience in acute care and clinical research. She currently works in National Centre for Infectious Diseases, Singapore focusing primarily on respiratory studies, and has a strong interest in strengthening research literacy, improving clinical trial engagement, and advancing evidence-informed healthcare. Nursing, for her is a vocation rooted in service, compassion, and meaningful impact on patient care. As an Epic Credentialed Trainer, she has contributed to digital transformation and quality improvement initiatives supporting safe and efficient clinical practice.
