Health equity initiatives focus on creating inclusive healthcare policies, promoting cultural competence in healthcare delivery, and advocating for social justice to bridge gaps and improve health outcomes for all. One key aspect of health equity is recognizing and rectifying historical and systemic injustices that have contributed to health disparities. This involves acknowledging the impact of discrimination, racism, and other forms of social inequality on health outcomes. Efforts to promote health equity seek to eliminate these root causes and create conditions that allow all individuals to lead healthy lives.
