About the Surgical Nursing Session
The theatre nurse is required during many various stages of surgery to support and help the patient, the surgeon, the surgical technician, the nurse anaesthetist, and the nurse practitioner. The nurse must assist in setting up the patient and operating room prior to the procedure. They offer assistance to the surgeons and anaesthetists as needed during the procedure.
