About the Nursing Assessment Session
A qualified Registered Nurse will do a nursing assessment to learn more about a patient's physiological, psychological, social, and spiritual state. The first phase in the nursing process is nursing assessment. CNAs may be given a portion of the nursing evaluation to complete. Sometimes the scope of the nursing evaluation is fairly wide, and other times it may concentrate on a specific physiological system or mental health. Nursing evaluation is performed to determine the patient's present and future care requirements. It takes into account the distinction between normal and pathological bodily physiology. Critical thinking abilities and prompt awareness of important changes enable the nurse to choose and order the most effective interventions.
