A provisional, intentional, and systematic view of events is projected by nursing theory, which is described as "a creative and rigorous structuring of concepts." Nurses can acquire information that will improve patient care through methodical inquiry, whether in nursing research or practise. "A cohesive set of broad assertions utilised as explanatory principles" is referred to as a theory. There was hardly much formal nursing education available in the early days of nursing. Nursing theory was created as a result of the necessity to categorise information as nursing education advanced in order to assist nurses in assessing the more complicated client care settings. This framework offers a method for managing, looking into, and making decisions as new situations are encountered. Theoretical frameworks for nursing are also used to communicate with other nurses as well as with other team members and representatives. The formulation of nursing's ideas, values, and aims is aided by nursing theories. They aid in defining the many, specific ways that nursing contributes to the treatment of patients. Research and practise in nursing are guided by theory.
